“It’s Groundhog Day”

Groundhog Day (film)

I  love this movie.

Good old Punxsutawney Phil telling us if we’re to expect an early Spring…or another 6 weeks of winter if he sees his shadow.  (I actually think if he says he sees his shadow he’s fibbing, as there’s a lot of plants and trees out there that think it’s Spring already!)

When you think about it it’s a bit of a strange tradition really…

a) a groundhog that speaks (at least to the nice men in frock coats and top hats holding him), and

b) hoping for (another) overcast day in winter, rather than a nice fresh sparkling day filled with sunshine

Anyway, just in case you’re going to be taught a lesson like Bill Murray’s character in the movie, whatever you do today, make sure it’s something you don’t mind re-living over and over again – until you realise what’s happening anyway after which just think  –  it’s a great way of working through your Bucket List (well, at least anything that doesn’t involve long distance travel anyway)!

Happy Groundhog Day everyone 😉
